What Home Education Looks Like - 27th August 2018

Povey and I had a day trip just the two of us to the Mary Rose museum at Portsmouth Docks.

There was a Bright Bricks event happening there where you could build a section of a huge mosaic.

This is what it should look like when finished!

There was also a mosaic of Henry VIII.

After he'd placed his square, he then got to make a model of a crown to take home.

Once the Lego bit was done we had a look around the museum itself, which was excellent!

Really fascinating! I got to have a quick pose with Henry before we left, but we plan to go back and take Papaya too as our tickets are valid for a year.

What Home Education Looks Like - 23rd April 2018

Povey's last couple of weeks began with a talk at our local library by one of his heroes, Duncan Titmarsh of Bright Bricks. It was a talk about his career rather than a workshop but Povey was eager to go and find out how to make Lego a job and DH took him and got a photo with Duncan in the background.

What Home Education Looks Like - 14th December 2015

Very interesting workshop on Victorian transport innovations at the Transport Museum in Covent Garden.

With added bonus of Bright Bricks' latest Christmas model of a steam train just outside!
