There are many homeschoolers/unschoolers I admire. I'm going to add a blogroll of them on here. I look to them for inspiration, ideas and just reassurance about how it works.
One of them, Tiffani at Free Play Life, is doing a set of weekly challenges to help you open yourself up to a Free Play Life. As I see it this is a way of opening yourself back up to the kind of mindset that children naturally possess that helps them grab at life and naturally learn through play. This can only be good!
I started a little late so had to catch up quick! Week one was to ask for what you want. I added a section to my Pinterest about it here.
Week Two was to take self portraits.....
Week three was to explore your own history, (again this is on my Pinterest, here.) with an added real doozy.... to post a photo of your own ass! I have an old one from when DH and I recreated an Ali G image so I posted that ;)
I'm not quite sure where it's all headed, the bottom shot certainly was a curve ball, but actually I already feel my self-confidence coming back so it must be working.
