In order to attend WOW (women of the world) Festival and an event called "Wonderwomen" for Secondary School girls. Papaya and I walked from Wapping to Southbank.
The event was in the Royal Festival Hall and there were 1000 girls plus their teachers/parents.
The day had speeches from famous inspiring women, (including Sarah Brown, Sabrina Mahfouz, Tanni Grey-Thompson, Megan Beech and Laura Bates) each talking about the women that inspired them. It also had a Beyonce medly which we learned to sing and dance to and a DJ playing an inspiring song mix from which we had to choose the top 3 songs.
I've got a bit of video here, the first part is a couple of the songs from the medley with the girls showing their support for them by singing and dancing, the second bit is Papaya learning the Beyonce dance.
Such an amazing feeling being surrounded by a 1000 girls singing Roar!
