Today we stopped off to pick up one of the children's friends, and then headed to Milestones Museum in Basingstoke (one of our favourites) for their annual "Lego Mania"!
The whole museum becomes invaded by Lego, with models everywhere, even ones you can touch and hold!
The brilliant Bright Bricks were there building a 4 metre long vintage truck!
As always at these places the kids first wanted to do a speedy tour, just to suss where everything was! On the way we saw some amazing models!
Westminster Abbey.....

Povey went racing over to this and said "Wow! A Sopwith Camel".... I didn't even know he knew what that was!

Display of all the Hobbit Lego...
Before heading back round again, this time with a "Minifigure Trail" to follow, asking us questions about the things on display, whilst at each point we had to spot the hidden minifigure.
Duncan Titmarsh at the Bright Bricks table had told us to also look out for the Looney Toons charecters so we spotted Marvin the Martian...
....and the one Povey really wanted to find..... Tweetie Pie!
At that point we headed back to the Bright Bricks building area and Povey excitedly built his own version of Tweetie Pie (from memory!) to give to Duncan Titmarsh as he recognised his name from The Lego Ideas Book and was super impressed!
The lovely man totally made Povey's day by putting his Tweetie Pie model in pride of place on his work table!
The children then spent hours just building! making a whole world!
We'll be going back there again before the month is out. Such a great day!
