When one of the children just spontaneously decides to take on a project that involves so much prep, thought, skills and creativity that I can really see how this home education thing works!
We were going to visit friends and Papaya decided we needed to bake cookies....
....AND made a card!
A nice reminder for me, not only how industrious she can be, but also how caring and thoughtful :)

Then she decided the cookies needed a basket and fashioned one of her own design out of card.....
......she also cross-stitched a soft version of the cookies to go in the pocket....
....AND made a card!
