Another home ed cliché but we have finally discovered Lapbooks!
Povey is doing this brilliant Lego one from Walking by the Way. This is a great one to start off with, because it has the activities for each day clearly listed and only lasts four days.
Papaya is doing a Wizard of Oz one, which we got mostly from Homeschool Share, but are adding bits and pieces of our own.

It's nice to have some freedom with it, and I'm sure we'll be able to freestyle them once we get more confidant, but I'd love to find some more like the Lego one, where all the planning has been done for you. Any suggestions anyone?
